Roy Denley and Cindy Heisler, both retired Cops from Colorado, will be riding bicycles across the country. Our ride, #BC2DC, is supporting four non-profit organizations that are close to our hearts. These organizations are the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors), Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, and The Honor Network. Our goal is to raise awareness and a minimum of $25,000 for each organization.

During our 3,700 + mile ride, we will Honor our fallen brothers and sister in Law Enforcement and Fire, and members of the U.S. Armed Forces. In addition, we will raise awareness about the invisible diseases, Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis, which affect 3.1 million Americans and has directly impacted Roy and I’s families.

Our ride will start at the Peace Arch Border Crossing in March 2020 and end at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial on May 12, 2020. We will meet up with the Police Unity Tour, Chapter VII, in Somerset, NJ on May 9, 2020, where over the final 3 days of our ride, we will make our way to Washington, D.C.

All monies will be collected and distributed by The Honor Network, as the parent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for #BC2DC. All donations received in support of our ride will be split equally between these organizations. The Honor Network will present a check to each organization at the completion of #BC2DC.
